Rousseau Solution
For over 50 years, Marino's Auto Group has built its reputation on exceeding customer expectations. Based in the greater Toronto area, the group represents five vehicle brands including Honda, Subaru, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover. Every customer is welcomed in a family style atmosphere by passionate employees committed to delivering exceptional service. Providing the best possible customer experience remains the company’s driving force.
Although the business was thriving, leadership chose not to rely solely on its strong reputation. Recognizing that the market was evolving and customer expectations were changing, the owners made the strategic decision to relocate three of their dealerships to a new, modern facility. As part of this initiative, Lakeshore Honda moved into a purpose built building that became the new Queensway Honda location.
Located in Etobicoke, Ontario, the new facility needed to address current operational needs while supporting medium and long term growth. This required selecting a storage system flexible enough to scale over time. The group was introduced to Rousseau at the annual NADA trade show and the Automotive Conference Expo. Management was immediately impressed with the quality, design, flexibility, and heavy duty construction of the products. The fact that the systems were manufactured entirely in North America was also an important factor.
During the early stages of the relocation project, discussions with the Rousseau team became a turning point. The manager explained, “They listened to our needs and presented recommendations based on our requirements, along with innovative storage solutions for our parts department. The initial need was for a high quality workbench solution with a professional appearance, but as we looked deeper into our requirements, we also needed solutions for multiple technician shifts and a way to integrate everything from toolboxes and air and oil reels to computer stations.”
Every detail was considered throughout the project. From technician workstations to alignment stations and oil change areas, each workspace was designed to meet the specific demands of the tasks performed. The Honda dealership now features a clean, distinctive aesthetic and provides a professional environment for both employees and customers. Management believes the quality of the installation also plays an important role in attracting and retaining top talent. “Their design aesthetic makes an impactful statement by presenting a professional appearance not only to our customers but equally important to our employees.”
The success of the project was the result of collaboration from start to finish. A total of 24 workstations and a complete parts department were installed. By focusing on operational needs, workflow efficiency, and long term durability, the final result exceeded expectations. As the manager summarized, “Rousseau products have greatly contributed to increased productivity and given the business a more professional look.”
Following the successful completion of Queensway Honda, Marino's Auto Group once again selected Rousseau solutions for Marino's Fine Cars Subaru and Jaguar Land Rover Metro West.
